One of the good qualities of physical books is that they have page numbers.
Page numbering improves look-up and referencing to friends. Research has also shown that it improves retention and recall, ala memory. But not all books need page numbering. For example, a comics book can do without it.
Effective today we are introducing a simple toggle switch (pic below) to turn _page_numbers_ on/off on any book as it may be deemed necessary. Note, since _page_numbers_ are not necessarily a part of the “content” therefore we have kept the idea of page numbers out of the manuscript (editing stage) completely.
