Superbooks in dry HTML mode 🕵️‍♀️

No javascript? No problem. Superbooks now work without javascript enabled on your browser. Yes!, and how cool is that? Here’s how it works:

The url containing book will show the following when JavaScript is disabled:

Click on the title link of the book to open it in plain HTML mode. This is how the book will appear with the pagination controls at the bottom near the footer. Now Superbooks in dry HTML mode isn’t a very sexy or inviting experience per se but the fact is that it works. It just works! And is great on low powered devices which is critical for accessibility for the differently abled. It’s probably also critical among privacy conscious readers who like to keep javascript on their browsers turned off.

In some situations, particularly in landscape mode, the content may seem a little oversized, which can be easily fixed by resizing the browser to look more like a page on the book. Now you can read the book, webpage by webpage! 🕵️‍♀️

<!-- anchor linking to external file -->
  <h1> Enjoy your book! </h1>
