I’m super excited to announce that starting today we’ll be assigning verified badge to author profiles on Bubblin that are of public interest. This process is entirely automatic and doesn’t require any initiative on part of the author. Our bot (a tiny script) on Bubblin will parse the profiles of writers who are actively working on their book and suggest it to one of the moderators on team. That’s either me or Marvin.
Then we apply the badge on the author’s profile page manually. The badge will appear adjacent to and intersecting over the avatar image of the author on the right bottom, like so:
The blue verified badge on Bubblin lets the readers know that the account of interest is authentic.
The badge is always the same color and will be placed in the same location, regardless of avatar image, profile bio or any other customizations that the user may have adopted. Accounts that don’t have the badge next to their avatar but that display it somewhere else, for example in the profile photo, header photo, or bio, are not verified accounts.
A verified badge must be applied by Bubblin only. Head over here to learn more about how verified badges work.
P.S: Verified badge is not provided on reader accounts.
